Why did we Choose this origin?

The Sidama region of Ethiopia is one of the birthplaces of coffee, globally renowned for producing beans with unique and sophisticated sensory profiles. Grown at altitudes between 2,000 and 2,200 meters, this coffee benefits from an exceptional terroir, where fertile soil and a balanced climate allow for the development of complex and distinctive flavors.

We chose the natural process and sun drying, which preserve the bean’s natural sweetness and enhance its vibrant notes. The use of local heirloom (Sidamo) varieties ensures an authentic coffee that respects and celebrates centuries of Ethiopian tradition.

With its bright acidity, delicate body, and remarkable notes of caramel, vanilla, floral tones, and red fruits, this coffee represents the best of Ethiopian coffee culture, delivering a rich and unforgettable experience.

Super Caramel!

We pulled espresso shots of this single origin sampler today and immediately noticed the primary characteristic of caramel, both in the unground beans and the finished shot. The rich caramel focused aroma also had some chocolate notes. Very rich and slightly earthy, good mix of flavors.
